Situated on London's famous King’s Road in the heart of Chelsea, ETM Group is delighted to announce the
re-opening of the famous Cadogan Arms.
The pub and private room have both undergone a major refurbishment including the restoration of the huge
open brick fireplace, the original oak wall panelling, oak floorboards and Victorian bar tiling.
The old 'Billiards Room' on the first floor has been completely revamped and now houses three brand new American '8 Ball' pool tables available by the hour every
day of the week. The Billiards Room is also available for exclusive hire for private parties.
The pub is open 7 days a week serving excellent cocktails, a wide range of new and old world wines, perfectly kept real ales and premium draught lagers.
A menu of British seasonal produce sourced from select UK farms and niche suppliers is available for both lunch
and dinner Monday-Saturday and we are serving a superb roast on Sundays.

Cadogan Arms London Reviews

But it was a try!!! - I went here on Saturday, that fateful night of the rugby world cup final. There is a certain law with regards to reviews, in that any venue you occupy when England lose cannot be voted as higher than three circles. But I'd say three circles is correct anyway.

Why was that try disallowed anyway? I think there's some fundamental rugby rule I am unaware of...the foot wasn't on the line! Anyway, I usually watch football in pubs, and rugby is an altogether different experience... it was actually quite refreshing to see fans of the opposing team being allowed to cheer without getting stabbed for it. The people here were pretty positive in general now I think of it.

We couldn't even get in at first, as the place was too full. But we got in eventually with the help of our friend 'on the inside', and a friendly bouncer. It's a fairly big place, two rooms downstairs and another seating area upstairs. We had prime seats right in front of the *massive* screen downstairs. I think this is a good place to watch sports... especially if they always use that screen.

My flatmate commented that this place looked like an "FHM pullout", and I had to agree that the women were adorable. He also commented that this was not the case on the other nights he had been here...so it's possible that this was an anomaly, or something to do with the large amount of South Africans present. If it turned out that the hot chicks are always there, (and if England win the next world cup...), you may feel free to add another circle to my rating.

Drinks were average London price, £3 something per pint (I had to research this, as I don't drink).

In fact, the best thing about going here and watching the rugby, was the tube ride to the next venue. We played rugby through the stations, and also on the actual trains themselves. This included rucks in the stations, in which several randoms joined in, and got suitably floored, and a scrum on the tube. My friend suggested a line out along the length of the train...alas, the other commuters did not seem too enthused and it did not happen.

Anyway, go watch some sports here if you live nearby.
