One spoon don't make a cutlery set - Really needed a wee so I popped into this titan of a pub, I keep hearing great things about the beer in here, so I put my hatred of all things wetherspoon aside and took the plunge once more.
This place is huge, I mean, heeeeeeeyuuuuuuuge, mahoosive! A horseshoe shaped bar, with 8-10 handpupms for real ale and the usual fosters etc... on the keg taps. The only beer I saw of any interest was The Belgian Palm on cask, something i've never seen before in this country.
Picked a safe option though and went for Brains SA Gold, nice beer but I was running out of time and had to get back to work, so I grabbed my newly aquired crackberry and headed back on out.
Big, impersonal, and typical spoons, won't be hurrying back. 26-03-09
